Google Employees can work from home until July 2021

Google will allow his employees to work from home till july next year in response to cvodi-19 pandemic.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai in a email to employees said, “To give employees the ability to plan ahead”, we are extending our global voluntary work from home option through June 30, 2021

The Wall Street Journal, which first reported the news, said nearly all of the 2 Lakh Google employees and contractors across the globe would see an extension of the option which had been set to end in January.

The decision may make other tech firms and large employers to extend the precautionary policy amid growing fears about the risks of returning to workplace normalcy.
