HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has announced that NEET 2020 examination would be conducted on 26 of July, 2020. The examination is postponed again by a month, earlier it was declared to be held in June. JEE Main 2020 examination have also been postponed till July.
HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has not shared any details regarding the postponing of NEET exams by two months. However students can assume that NEET exam postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. NEET 2020 would see more than 16 lakh students appearing for the medical entrance examination. With the large number of students in the country, the decision was best to postpone the NEET exams.
NEET admit cards are usually released one month before the examination date. However due to the coronavirus outbreak, NEET 2020 admit cards may be released around 10 days ahead of the examination.
The complete revised schedule for NEET 2020 would also be made available on nta.ac.in as well as on ntaneet.nic.in. Students preparing for NEET are advised to keep a check on the official website for the latest updates
