Parents move CBSE to Court for taking Class XII exams in July
Covid-19 is a highly infectious disease with very low mortality rate. Nation is under country wide lockdown since 2 months due to covid-19.
Worried from community spread of covid-19, four parents of Class XII students have taken CBSE to Supreme Court for holding the exams in the month of July.
They plead and urged the court to command CBSE to declare this year 2020’s Class XII results on the basis of internal examination already conducted and to calculate it as an average of the internal assessment marks of the remaining subjects.
Parents namely Poonam Singla, Col Amit Bathla, Sunitha; whose children are class XII Stuents, have questioned the CBSE notification that announced new dates for holding examinations for reamaining class 12th papers.
Major Health Professional have warned that covid-19 infections will rise mayfold in the month of july.
Delhi Government have also warned that coronavirus cases can rise upto half a million in Delhi alone in the end of July.
Stressing on the rise in Covid-19 infections, the parents said the pandemic would worsen in India and it is not safe for students to gather at examination centres in large numbers.
