The Ayodhya Ram Temple’s original design which was prepared in 1988 was 141 feet in height. Now after passing of 30 years, the design is revised, the height of the temple is now increased from 141 feet to 161 feet.
Construction of the Ram Temple will begin after a grand groun-breaking ceremony on August 5. The ceremony will also be attended by Prime Minister Modi.
There would be 2 extra mandaps added to the existing design of the temple.
We can see the temple to be ready in around 3.5 years.
Bhumi Pujan
The ‘bhoomi pujan’ will be done in the presence of PM Modi, then after it construction will start. Team from L&T with machinery & materials have reached the spot in ayodhya and the work will start right away.
3-day long rituals will go on in the bhuumi pujan, this will revolve around the installation of a 40 kg silver brick as the foundation stone by Nation’s PM
The pujan and rituals will begin from August 3.
50 VIPs will attend the event. The event was delayed by more than 2 months due to the pandemic.
Giant CCTV screens are been placed across Ayodhya so the devotees can watch the programme, said the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra, which has been tasked with the temple.
